919 finally done. (pics)

just wanted to say thanks to all the people on wristtwisters for the ideas and know how to get this project done.

Rizoma
Bars, Bar ends, grips, mirrors, rear set, grab bar hole caps, rad guard, indicators.

Deprettamoto
rear hugger, chain guard, axle plugs, air box covers.

Big bike belly pan, pyramid plastics undertray, 2003 black instrument cover.

Micron oval slip ons, ceramachrome headers, modefied original heat shields.

HEL braided brake lines, gsg rad hoses modified plate bracket with LED light bar. powdercoating rear and front end and some paintwork.

I think thats everything, i still need to do something with the rear brake res so if any one has got any ideas let me know.

Thanks

Thanks

The hoses are GSG moto supplied by http://streetfightersinc.com/WaterHoses.htm

You have some options with them I only did the top and bottom rad hoses.
Not cheap but good.

You used to be able to buy braided stainless slip-on covers for hoses in all sizes. I used to use it all over under the hood of my Roadrunner and it was relatively inexpensive. Check hot rod websites for more info.

Looks great, really like the color cordinated side panels. Few times I've scene that done that rear hugger has also been done and it's just to much.

I really like what you've did with this bike. I'm pretty picky with my option of modifications to the 919. I think you executed this one well!

Did you powdercoat the swingarms? I love them.

And if I may ask, where did you pick up your Rizoma mirrors? I love the way those look too.

Single pipe blueing??

I have one pipe that is turning blue all of a sudden, at least I don't recall it being blue in the past. I don't think the bike is running any different than normal and feels and sounds good. I believe blueing would be caused by excess heat which is typical of a lean condition. With the FI on these I would not think that would be an issue? Any ideas, should I worry?

Your 919 looks great!! What a difference the powdercoating makes, too!!

However, I hate to say this, but your not done. You may think you're done, but you're not. Afterall, you only just joined WT not even 2 months ago. With that acknowledged, you're not done. /lol
