919 bafflectomy or other aftermarket pipes with full shields?

What does the stock 919 bafflectomy sound like? Would like more sound, but have a passenger alot, so dont want any pipes that would risk burning her.. Does any aftermarket pipes have full shields like the stocks do?

Video I made a while back.
YouTube - Honda 919 Bafflectomy

I have since gone to a 2 Brothers pipe that I like a lot more, but for the cost (cost of a bit to drill it out) the bafflectomy isn't bad.

I put some of the Delkevic pipes on mine and was a bit worried since there were no shields. They don't need them, they are warm to the touch and definetly won't burn your passenger.

Later, Guy

You'll be fine without it.

Carbon fiber doesn't get hot enough to burn.

I'm a new 2Bros owner and fan. I held off buying because the bad rap the 2Bros had gotten here from the Sato proponants. But there's a lot to like about it. I've never seen the reason for a Y pipe and 2 mufflers.

That and the Sato cans seem to be blowing out. No problems with my used 2Bros can though

The only 'point' of the Y pipe is to split it for a balanced twin muffler look. In reality a wee bit of power is lost with this set-up (Bros used to have charts etc on this on their site).
End of the day it depends on the 'look' you like , single or double.

It's a shame 2 Bros don't offer their latest mufflers for the 919 as they are a nice looking kit.
Bafflectomy sounds good, but for the price of Delkevics in the USA I'd seriously consider them.

Garage
I've got a set of de-baffled cans in my garage if you're interested. I just want to get these out of my garage so I'd be willing to part with them for the cost of shipping plus say $20 to dig up a box and get them to USPS. PM if you're so inclined.
