919 and the quarter mile

I read somewhere that the 919 comes pretty close to doing the quarter mile in 10 seconds. any truth to this? how many bikes *can* do that, btw?

What ever happened to Bucky? He had the coolest chopped up car for hauling his 919. Anyone have a pic of it?

Garage
Is he the one with the red civic with the 919 parked through the rear seats and the trunk? I've got that pic on the home PC. I'll have to post it when I get home tonight.

Well... sad to admit this.. my best time on the 9er is 12.12. Now in my defense, that was at 4450 ft elevation and I am fat fat fat at 275lbs / 5' 11". Pretty sure I could be in the low 11's with 80 less lbs. The Sato cans, K&N air filter and proper map helped me break last years best at 12.46. Running this Friday again.. we'll see. I haven't eaten anything in 3 weeks .. oh.. except coffee! (that last part was a lie..... I drink the coffee)

Bucky bragged about a 10.73 if I remember correctly and he was going to be putting nitrous on this year with his Alaska government check. Does he have an account at Project919 RD? Email him and let's find out what he has done with a shot of nitrous. Is Alaska still frozen over?

With his setup I wouldn't be surprised if it'll be low 10's if not high 9's with a fogger kit.
