919 and F4i have the same seat?

I need to get a seat for my 919. There's a 4fi seat 4 sale online and they look very similar.

Just looked real quick. Looks like 99 and 00 have the solid one piece seat as the 01 and up have a 2 piece. The 99 and 00 look fairly similar on the spread sheet but are different part numbers. If its dirt cheap I'd say get it and sell it if it doesn't work out.

Garage
Undercover, the 04-06 F4i has the banana seat. And that's the one that's for sale on Craigslist near him.

I had the 919 and currently have an F4i...the seats do seem really similar, but the F4i seat is a little thicker in the very back. I never really payed close attention to what both of the seat trays look like.

If you're ever near the Williamsburg area, you're more than welcome to try my seat out.

99-00 was an F4 (carbed) with the banana seat

2001-2002 was the F4i (i for injection aka FI) with the split seat.

2003 the CBR 600RR came out replacing the F4i as the RR bike. In 2003 the F4i turned into the comfy sport bike so the banana seat came back.
