919 adjustable suspension.

I have a question for anyone who can help with adjustments on my 919. The bike is an '04. The problem I have is when I ride over what I call "speed bumps on the roadway" (large bumps that run across the roadway) I literally get thrown off the seat. This is my first bike with adjustable suspension and I don't know where to begin.

Greenhornet:
If your's is a '04 like mine, there is a damping adjustment screw on the bottom right side of the rear shock. Turn it counterclockwise to "S" (soft). This cured my "bump" problem immediately.
Regards,
Z

Thanks Zeus. When I bought the bike (5/06) I did experiment a bit and turned the screw towards soft. Maybe I didnt turn far enough. I'll give it another try.
