Always say nine one nine cause if you say nine nineteen that could be confused with the time or date.

 

I was part of a focus group at American Honda a couple of years ago and the marketing / consumer research guys at Honda called it a nine nineteen.

 

I call mine Veronica. She prefers it that way.

If using numbers, I typically say nine nineteen. I've know to call it a nine one nine, but that just takes too long to say.

I have tried a few ways,,,,, can anyone make 919 work out to 23?

 

9-19 sounds awkward, so I say 9-1-9 or "the niner" if I have to refer to it in some way other than "my motorcycle." I can't call it "the Honda" because my brother has a 9-2-9, which is said 9-2-9, not 9-29... maybe that's why I say 9-1-9, since that's the way the 929 and 954 get named. YMMV.

Hornet 900 in New Zealand (and Australia, England etc - pretty sure it was only the USA that got the 919 name due to the Hornet name being owned by the car). Or on the registration papers CB900F.

I do feel like Hornet 900 is short changing me 19cc though! Those extra 19cc equate to at least an extra half inch of penis lenght in bragging rights.
