Now there's an investment, leave it in the crate for 10 years, and you would triple your money!

That would be a great price even with shipping trans America. The last two remaining new '07 919 in Charleston are being priced at MSRP when I checked two weeks back.

we have about 6 or 7 freshly uncrated and stored in the back at work.. and we have 2 more on the showroom floor... sales have picked up lately as there are reports of a red 919 embarrasing a few sport bikes.. and the fact that the 919 in question is parked right out the front door when i am at work... lol

There WAS a red 919 at one of the dealer's here until this weekend. I didn't buy it, but I actually kind of helped the guy that bought it to decide. I happened to be in there looking for winter gloves (got Joe Rocket Nitrogen) and turn signals (K&S LED) and happened to overhear the conversation between the buyer and the salesman. He was looking at $6479 plus taxes, etc. Of course, by the time he finished grabbing up gear, I'm sure he was well over 7K for it.

2003 Honda 919 - flapper mod, Clear Alternatives Smoke Tailight w/ integral turn signals, Stebel Nautilus air horn, DIY fender eliminator, LED license plate bolts, LED front turn signals, no resistor or new flasher so I blink like crazy.

One of those might be a perfect replacement for my 919 that got crunched this weekend, if it isn't repairable.
Thanks for the hot tip!
