Bought my dream bike day one of 2020, the CB919! I want to switch out the plastic stock throttle tube for a metal one of some sort. NOT a tamer or quickturn throttle tube... Just an identical throttle tube that's aluminum or something... Been having a hard time sorting thru them. Could anyone here help me out?? Thank yall for take'n a moment of time with me ^___^
How about a bit of context so you hopefully get more and best responses?
Seeing as you don't want any difference in the opening rate, and the part is hidden, why do you want to change it to metal?
Or are you trying to go gripless and want a knurled metal twist with the same OD as a rubber grip over the OEM plastic item?
I installed a throttle tamer. It's aluminium with delrin inserts that interface with the bar. I do enjoy the added smoothness and it will out-last the bike for sure.
