04 919 work so far

Posted a while back pretty much as an introduction. Threw up some pictures of my bike so far then. Well a lot has changed since the intro I said I was planning on painting the 9ner and i finally got around too it. Thought I would share the progress so far with this wonderful group of misfits. Still got more too do like change the gas cap and 900rr header swap but for the most part I think shes coming along nicely.

I think silver is an awesome look for a 919. I had a red bike too, changed it to gunmetal black. Kinda wish I'd gone for the silver, next time. Will you put the honda decal back on the tank? I like the look of those wings.
Great job mate.

Still in the air about putting the decals back on the tank. I kinda like it with out the decals. Hell most people didnt know what kind of bike it was before I painted it. The definitely won't know now.

Garage
that looks cool. I like the finish. reminds me of the finish on the uranium green paint job, matte but sparkly. I'm thinking of doing the same but in blue (my bike is blue).

The blue would look really good like that. I was thinking about maybe painting it blue but decided on that silver. There's a few more things I still need to do. I'm getting rid of the grab bar going to order some block of plates for it in the next few days. I'm still trying to track down some 6 spoke wheels and the 900rr header at a reasonable price. I'm also wanting to get a windscreen and a belly pan as well. Plus trying to find a good shop around me too redo my seat.

Looks great! Did you do the paint yourself? Where are you located? I may want some paint work done in the near future.

Darn, I'm in New Jersey. Would probably cost too much to ship to you for paint work. Great work so far!
