I picked up the Givi thru my Honda Dealer. (haydenhonda.com) -

I got the shorter model and it is a light smoke in color. The wind hits me about at the chin in a normal riding position. You might try a taller model if you are riding long trips or in the rain.

The shorter one keeps the wind off my chest and that is a must over

The OEM windscreens are damn near impossible to find now that the 919 has been discontinued in the states. Even though IMO it's the best looking windscreen available, you might have to go with used OEM, or a Buell, or an aftermarket screen.

My goal is simple. It is a complete understanding of the universe, why it is as it is and why it exists at all.

It's actually something that has been mentioned a few times. All it is, is the rider not putting enough ooomph into engaging the shift lever, it allows the trannie to sit in a false neutral between cogs. It's not a "problem" persay you just need to be a little more aggressive when shifting.

thanks, that is what the tech at the dealership said. he suggested leaving pressure on the shifter while letting the clutch out.

Effectively what you are doing there is just preloading the clutch.
