YZF R1 2002

Who's got the info on a 2002 R1 ? I see this one on Craig's list for 6,000 I do love the looks of it. anyone know if these bikes had a problem, I remember something with fuel injectors on one of the R1 can't remember what year.

Very twitchy throttles and you always feel as if you are riding on the edge of sanity. I owned an '01 R1 for a while; it was an exercise in throttle control and my mind was always trying to keep up with the bike's handling. IDK how much changed in the '02 and later, but I won't own another one.

ive owned a 99,00,02 and currently a 04...there AWSOME bikes...the 04-06 have the looks hands down....only problems I ever herd of was with the 08's with the ecu....check www.r1-forum.com if your looking for one

I owned an 03. That is identicle to the 02.

I personally like it. The best mod i did was a steering damper. Lots of the twitchy when away immediately.

I think 6K is high for the bike. I have seen them going for low 5s.
If it is not immaculate, I would not do it.
