VFR 800 Sliders?

Hey all. Need some help for a friend. I usually live on the naked bike forum but I'm sure you folks won't mind helping us out.

My buddy just picked up a 2003 VFR 800. He's looking for sliders for this bike, but we aren't having much luck. We've found two sets that in the photos look identical, but only one has a description with details.

In that description it details having to modify the frame and coolant overflow bottle, but it doesn't say how they are modified.

I just looked at the Motovation and LOS site and can't see anything different.

So does anyone have a set of sliders on their VFR and what did you have to modify to get them to work?

Thanks a ton.

Great website for VFR's

All the sliders will require either modifications to the coolant bottle, or come with a pre-modified bottle

Basicly , the reason for the coolant bottle mod, is the slider has to pass thru the bottle......

Thanks. We ordered the RG ones. He will be thrilled to get them. Like a kid in a candy store.
