Geez, drop a bike once, and you never live it down.

I'll post up some impressions once I get a few more miles on it.

Ducati caters to the Hollywood types in L.A. (of course).

I was driving home from work (40 miles one way) on one of the busiest freeways in the nation, the 405 Freeway, going north. Traffic was at a stand still, more than usual. The traffic crested a well known pass, the Sepulveda Pass, and at the top was a fallen Ducati 998R lying on its side. The rider in full racing leathers was staring at HER fallen steed on the shoulder. She appeared to be OK. She looked more upset as she stared at her Duc.

Ride safe Kristen.

I am still getting used to the hydraulic clutch.

Ok, yeah, I admit it. I stalled right in the middle of the busiest intersection in town, during rush hour. Smiled, flipped every one off, and squealed off. (Just kidding about the flipping off part ).

At least you have a wet clutch. . .less grabby and less noise.

The lastest stats from surveys regarding the LA dating scene says that Valley girls have more than 12 partners on average in a year, regularly give it up on the first night, and their favorite position is doggie.

Seriously, I read this in the hotel magazine a few weeks ago in LA. It was LA Scene or something like that.

I wasn't going to respond to this post but seeing as tact is not one of my strong points:
You bunch of sexist pigs, where are the "statistics" for the other side of this story? Where are the gory details on the virginal valley guys?

I can certainly see why everyone's first mod on this bike is to change the front sprocket:
3rd gear- 55mph
4th gear- 75-80mph
Haven't touched 5th or 6th yet.

Of course, as much of my driving is around town, slogging around in 1st and 2nd is a chore.
