I found the world's loudest bike... and bought it!

2004 RC51 Nicky Hayden, 15,400 miles. Flush blinkers, undertail kit, PCIII, black dragon exhaust, 123hp and 72lb-ft at the wheel. Best of all, ugly red windscreen! Consider that shit gone. Fast! I took off the bump pad too.

I actually tried to talk the guy down on price because it was louder than I wanted. But now I like it.

I seriously can't imagine how loud that thing is. I fired mine up without the slip-ons once it was STOOOPPIIDDD loud. I can't imagine those mini-pipes that far off.

Best sounding I heard in person are twin Yoshimuras. Deep growl cruising.

Ok troll.

I'll gladly trade in my T and gain 31lbs, lose 5-10 hp, 15 ft/lbs of torque, & take the terrible ergos to boot.

Love the sound of the RC51. I paid especial attention to it each time I passed it on the track.

Speaking of Hesher, we need a sound clip of your bike!

Congrats on the bike.
When you get tired of those pipes, and you will, there are many other nice choices.
Lot's of upgrades available.
Enjoy.

I would prefer a black bike myself, but this one was just too nice to pass up and I've never actually seen a black SP2 for sale in Portland. I'll see about getting a sound clip up here, I post from my phone only.

Wow, that is my bike. It was originally from Seattle and those were the dyno #'s, not a very comforting thread though. Maybe over the winter I'll hunt down a different setup, possibly try to squeeze some more ponies out of her.
