Getting a Ninja 250 for $150

Yup, you heard right. It's a fixer-upper but has all the plastics. My buddy said he had a cop run the VIN number before he got it in his garage, so I'm going to go to the DMV tomorrow and see about getting the lost title.

F2. basically same bike. Still waiting on the word about the F2, and I gotta call my buddy about the ninja today. His friend first needs to file for a lost title, and then sign it over.

Both need work, but I'm looking forward to it. Ninja will be for my girlfriend, and the F2 won't even be getting registered. Strictly controlled environment stunt bike.

I'm still an Alaskan. I would have to fill out a crd 93 and treat it as an abandonment, and just wait for the last person to have it titled to contact me. If they don't reply within 30 days I think it's mine. My buddy said someone else was interested, so I decided to not go through all the paperwork.

And the F2 has a stolen motor on it apparently. Dude that has it now doesn't have a title for that either.
