Thumbs up Attacked by Arthritis

Hi fellow wrist twister,
It's been awhile that I could not post anything due to a severe attack of arthritis. I now cannot ride as much as I wanted (all fingers of my left hand are swallen and it is so painful to do the clutch). I have turn around and bought a 2004 Honda Silverwing 600 so I still can ride without clutch. Any member having same problem with good alternative riding tips? Right now my 919 is in "winterized" mode. Thanks and let's keep riding.

How about an FJR1300AE? It has no clutch lever.

FJR1300AE is way too intimidating for my size (5'4 and 135lbs) and for my "allowance" from mama.

Silver Wing is best alternative right now considering the economy. I miss the clutch and the power of my 919, but the SWing has enough power to keep up with the traffic on the freeway. I drove 7 hours from South Houston to Oklahoma to get the Swing. That's a 2004 with only 836 miles. I love it.

A little more than a s/wing but automatic 850 and you can put a full faced helmet under what looks like a gas tank..850 mana

Nothing wrong with a Silverwing, you're still on two wheels and enjoying riding!

This gentleman is 91 years old and still riding his Swing!

I so want a Silverwing! Seriously! Pure comfort and economy and with the right rider it will silly embarass squids on sportbikes in the curves!

It's better to have loved and lost than live with the psycho for life!
