87 Gsxr

SO im buying an 87 GSXR 750 tommorow morning as long as all goes well.

What do you guys think of this bike overall and how do you think itll last in the long run if maintained?

Also im looking for some sweet add ons if anyone knows some good sites

I actually think I'm gonna strip her down and make a custom naked-ish street bike with custom tail and headlights, that is if i ever get around to it and gather up enough money

I'm kind of breaking my bank to get it in the first place even though its only 1K

Dude, that's actually a really bitchin bike......

My unsolicited opinion is that if it's in good condition, you should leave it alone and fairly stock. But since you're only paying 1K for it, it's probably a little rough around the edges, in which case you would have my blessing to make it a naked marauder.......

Yeah its not in the best of shape as some small rust spots have developed wiring is mildly a mess and the crabs are so gummed up that you have to let it run for 10 minutes at least b4 even attempting to ride... So im gonna tare her down build her up
