250 Ninja Tires

Seems the pickings are very slim in the required size for this thing. So this is what I have coming from tiresunlimited.

Any one have experience with these?
Hopefully I'll have the head altogether this weekend and fire it up. If I'm lucky the couple of bent valves was the limit of its damage. So far with the bike ,head and tires I have $300 in this project.

i'm guessing you're talking about the older style 250? if so, i just slapped a set of Pirelli Diablo Scooter performance tires on about a thousand miles back. wearing great so far, excellent turning, even ran a few sessions on them at Little Tally Sunday. they did great! if the suspension were up to snuff, i could have pushed it a LOT harder. got some knees (and pegs) down a few times, so I was VERY happy with the tires! can be had for about $150-200 a set. 100/80/16 and 130/80/16
first place i found them. they're in the Parts Unlimited catalog, any dealer can get them.

oh yeah, and i love cheap 250's! i have $1050 in my '07, including tires, forks, cam chain tensioner, sprocket and chain...

I'd sell my soul for a trackday and some tires...

Those are the tires I first looked at but they were on backorder from pirelli.
These are the avon equivalent, I hope they stick rather well.

Pirelli Sport Demons are the best tires for the 16" wheels.
