1000rr Tailbag

Usually tour on the 919, but the gear I use doesn't translate well to the 1K. I own a few Cortech solutions that work well on bikes with more tie down points and like the 919, I"ve pulled the passenger pegs from the CBR. Any experience with a tailbag and a strap mount tank bag on the tiny little tail? Looking hard at the Kriega stuff.

Rice Rocket Racks - Solution

I ended up purchasing a Rice Rocket Rack after finding a post on perhaps another forum. Nicely made and very, very simple and fast to take on and off the bike.

Rice Rocket Racks Flash Player 8 REQUIRED. I just slap the big Cortech tank bag or tail bag on it and bungee it down. Put a cooler on it last weekend and then ran a few errands which included a bag of ice and a few mixers.

If anyone would like a picture or more feedback, please let me know. Bert Lu is the owner and was very responsive answering questions via email.

Cheers - Gavin
