WTB right footpeg bracket

Unbelievable. Went into the bank, and upon getting back on the bike found this:
IMG_1188.jpg
A construction worker ran a self powered scissor lift into the right side, hitting the footpeg. Fortunately he wasn't 3 inches to his left or it would have taken out the engine cases! Any way, he owned up to it and gave me the contact number of the head office. They agreed to pay for the part which is a surprisingly low $51 plus shipping.

Anyone out there have a right side hanger they would be willing to sell? Including, of course, whatever priority shipping costs -- obviously it's on their dime.

In the meantime I'm rigging a temporary peg.

Rob

If it has already been done, it is safe to assume it is possible to do it.
On the other hand, if it has not been done never assume it is impossible to do it.

Actually, he did. Then picked it up and put it back on the sidestand. The only evidence that it had hit the ground on the left side is the mirror was way out of adjustment. That, and the already scuffed up alternator cover. The least damaging tip over I have ever seen ... discounting the peg of course.

It was an integral part of a thoroughly weird day.

Ouch! Pretty sure I sold mine, but let me check the parts box when I get home tonight.
