WTB rear shock cheap

Need something to swap the worn out rear shock on the 919 I just got. Don't really care what it's off of f3 f4i, anything that will fit the 919 for a month or so while I save for an aftermarket setup. Any help would be greatly appreciated while I return this bike back to its former self and better. Thanks.

I doubt it's worn out.

60k on the clock and it bottoms out by just pushing the seat. What might be wrong with it?

Could be it. Would that really make it bottom so easily?

I've never had a stock shock (mine came with a Hagon), but ya, I would say play with the preload adjuster, which is remote on the 919 I believe.

Geez. I can do a loaner for a couple of months, no problemo. It's off my 2007 when it had about 15K on it. It works OK but not like the Swedish hottie I have now. I can drop it off or you can pick it up - your choice. I'm on the north side of Columbus between Cooke and Morse just east of I-71. All day Friday, or afternoon on Saturday or Sunday works for me. PM me.

Thanks for the reply. That's a really nice offer. I will get back to you about it if cranking the preload doesn't help. Haven't been home to mess with it yet.

I've got an '02 shock with less than 4k. Let me know if you need it. Pay shipping and it's yours. Just don't get excited when you see the Ohlins box it comes in....lol
