WTB: Parts for F3 front wheel conversion

Does anyone have the necessary parts for the 3 spoke to 6 spoke F3 front wheel conversion? Apparently I need a different axle, spacers, and maybe more.

I am looking for the parts and hopefully some guidance on how to install them

I've read a lot about this conversion on the forum, but the instructions can get a bit fuzzy.

Is this a good place to start?

If you do some searches on here, you'll find enough threads with the information.

900rr rear wheel is the one you want for the rear - just swap the sprocket carrier and put it back on, it's that easy.

The front requires one or both of the 919 spacers, and one of the two F3 spacers (don't recall which), but I think the width was somewhere around .45". I actually made my own out of some spares that I had.

The F3 wheel bolts right up, but you may consider upgrading your brakes - that RC51 brake setup for sale on here is a treat on the F3 front wheel.

See my old setup here - sorry I don't have any closeup pics, seems I got lazy taking pictures around this stage of the bike:

Yeah, from what I've read that is not too bad. On a side note, I just bought new tires, the rear being a 190/55/17, that should fit on the 900 wheel right?

So I can use the existing spacers on there now, but add some of the F3 spacers. I don't need a different axle? I thought I saw that somewhere on here.

Is it worth buying that axle with spacers on eBay I found?

Thanks

I can't recall using a different axle - I think the stock one works, however, the F3 front axle is hollow and I think the 919 one is not, so a bit of weight savings if you go with the F3 axle.
