I would buy these instead. Scroll down to see the "long" version. That version comes with separable weights.

Yeah you can get the short SS version with the extra long weight.

Or you can go really over board & get the long SS version with the long weight.

The combination of SS bar end & the extra weight make for a very heavy bar end.

As you can see the weight can be split if needed.

Interesting, do they make a big difference in vibes? I'm thinking of going back to UL from Rizoma fat bars but I don't want to go back to vibatron 919.

FYI The metal part of Vibranators do not touch the bars on the Renthals or on stock. That is their "gimmick", the metal rod/weight moves a little up and down to disperse energy. They use a different rubber bushing for different size bars.

When I went from stock bars to Renthals, I emailed them (Vibranator) and they sent me smaller bushings at no cost. So if you find some 7/8 Vibranators, they will work with a bushing change.

I saw that. Not sure. Plus there are no bar ends on them. I haven't researched the part number yet.

I saw the part number on the pictures of the packaging and it matches up. so I asked the seller if the tap was included in the set, seller came back to me and said that this type was the "vice" type that expandes when tightened inside the bar. The package in the picture also says " fits everything but twinwall" but on his ad it says "fits twinwall bars only" soooooo im confused. But im trying to figure it out.

I also asked vibranator if that was possible. I was left a voicemail stating the person to best answer that was undergoing chemo therapy ( my prayers go out to him and his family) and couldn't get back to me till later, that was about a week and a half ago, I think ill call back this Monday and find out.

Good news you can attach a bar end weight to the renthal vibranators, all they ask is is that you send an email after you create the order specifying such. And no extra cost! I was in contact with ron, realy helpful guy.

Was those the ones on eBay that comes with the bar ends? Or straight from Vibranator?

And you can order them with bar end weights instead of a brush guard anchor.

They also sell them so you don't have to tap the bars. My buddy just bought them. They are not cheap

Well I ordered a set of Sato black aluminum bar ends with the long steel weights. Each of them weigh in at 7 oz so a combined weight of almost 1 lb makes for a very substantial bar end. When I get them, I will report back though this will be for a GSXR so not sure how the 919 will fair. If its any consolation, it will be on a Renthal Ultra Low

FYI I ordered them from LDH & he gave me a good price & shipping Priority Mail was $6. PM him or call him & he will get you sorted.

OK bad news.

I can now confirm that the Sato's DO NOT work with the Renthal Ultra Low. The Sato are correct in their diameter of 14mm. The Renthals however have an inner diameter of about 13.5 mm, enough that the Sato weight will just not go in. You can mount them without the weight but then thats defeating the purpose.

The odd thing is, the bar ends fit comfortably in a Renthal CR high fat bar I had laying around.

Well that was a crap shoot, going to see if I can work something out with LDH or I will just have to eat the $50.

The renthals taper towards the end. They get wider the futher you go into the bar, get a 14mm drill bit and make it fit!

Are you sure about this? A 14mm drill bit is probably not cheap & I would hate to drill into a nice new bar only to see it doesn't work.

I was thinking the same. Make them fit. People tap renthals for Vibranators. No different really

They tap them not more than an inch.

If you see the Sato weights above, they are 160mm or 6.3 inches. I don't think I would be able to shave .5 mm so deep.

Give him a call man, he gets busy from time to time.

Anyway I got my exchange & I am pleased with the results. If you are expecting complete vibration dampening, look elsewhere. The vibs are significantly reduced while leaving a slight feel from the engine. Its just right in my book. It will probably be smoother on the 9er as the engine is generally smoother. My results are from an 06 GSXR 1000.

That's alright. I sent him a message twice. He's been on several times since. He's obviously ignoring me. No big deal. I would rather have Vibranators anyway. Thanks for the feedback though.
