900rr wheel / 600F3 wheel

I want to make the 3 spoke to 6 spoke conversion. All wheels I find on eBay are bent or overpriced.

Hoping someone on here has one laying around they'd like to offload.

Thanks

Haha, I'm sure there are plenty of members with these wheels sitting under their 919s, I'm looking for a set that is sitting in the corner collecting dust.

So I have found someone parting out an F2 very close to me. He is selling the front and rear wheel for $80 each. Is it possible to mount up the F2 rear wheel on the 919? I know the 900 wheel bolts up without much trouble, but is that the same for the F2 rear wheel?

Thanks

It's probably narrower, might be possible, but you'd need to shim it to get it right most likely.

Also, the cush drive of the 919 drops right into the 900rr rear wheel - it's very unlikely this same setup works on the F2 wheel.

So, different cush drive, different sprocket mounts, different sprocket, etc.

Probably not worth the effort.

Ok thanks. But I should pick up the front wheel right? And get some spacers so it fits.

Sorry, I realize my post was confusing - I was mostly talking about the rear wheel - I don't think the F2 rear OR front will fit.

F3 front wheel does fit, yes, and get the spacers. If you're asking about the F2 wheel, no, I don't think it does. I looked at some pics and it seems the rotor mount patters is also different.

FYI, if you get the F3 wheel, you'll need F3 rotors. You can't bolt 919 rotors to the F3 wheel.

I spent probably around $500 for the wheels, and powder coating but in the end it was definitely worth it.

That'll be your best bet. They're usually pretty cheap on eBay. Also check local salvage yards. I found one at mine after I had already ordered one.
