'03 919 Kickstand!

I have an '03 919 and last summer when someone shoved it over onto the left side while it was parked, it broke off the broader end at the weld, leaving just the narrow shaft. That was more or less sufficient until a couple weeks ago when someone saw fit to try to 'fix' it without my permission by welding a big washer to the end to give it that broader base...not realizing it would make the kickstand just enough longer that it's barely balanced. Therefore the bike and I have bit the dust in the driveway 3 times in the last couple weeks.

The person who 'fixed' it wants to try again (and at least is replacing the broken and bent levers and the bar end mirrors that snapped off), but I would much rather just get a stock kickstand and have no more 'fixing'. They are about $55 online and I'm too broke to afford that, so I was wondering if perhaps one of you lovely people could sell me one for cheaper. Either way, hope you are all having an excellent summer and safe travels.

I have one but with shipping would likely cost you more than buying new.

I figured shipping would be cheap since a kickstand only weighs a few ounces. Perhaps I can buy a book from you instead that you could drop in the mail at media mail rates and accidentally make the kickstand part of the wrapping?

If the deal doesn't work out with rickard, there's one on eBay for cheap.
