WTB: OK condition Rear Cowl

Hello All,

So following the return of my bike from the damn thieves, the rear cowl (#8 in the diagram) will need to be replaced :-/ because as you can see the key lock hole is busted, and it has some side damage.

I don't care what the condition of the paint is, as long as the plastic itself has no issues ie deep scratches, cracks, deformations, bubbling etc.

If you have one up for spare or know somebody please let me know and let us discuss prices :-)

Thanks

Can you fiberglass? Could be fixed and painted in few days? How bad is the side damage? Where it mounts is it damaged?

Side damage isn't bad, but it's one deep scratch on each side from the previous owner tightening his luggage down so hard it ate into the Plastic

Also when I took off one of the stickers, since I was a noob I heated the plastic a bit too much and you can tell the deformation...
And the third area of damage is at the lock area where its broken.

I got a quote from Honda for 275CAD ~ 200usd for a red cowl for a 2007 model, I'm guess that they're the same right ?
Turns out they don't make the blue anymore. I even asked them if they'd send me one non painted with just primer on, but the guy said no :-/

If I can't find one I might just get the red and then plasti dip all the body parts. The tank is suuuper scratched, and so is the front fender...

I've got a silver one that came off my reverse trike project donor bike. I'm not sure about condition, but could take a look this weekend and see if it's decent.

That would be great thanks much appreciated. If you'd be able to take some pictures that'd be even better
