Only 1XXX miles, Seat Concepts seat, Yosh fender eliminator, flyscreen, & in perfect condition. Maybe I'm getting old but, this thing is way more "angry" then my 919.

$5250

Probably cause of the twitchy throttle and weird fuel delivery. I've read that these definitely need a power commander to iron everything out...

I wonder if the first gen of these bikes will become similar to the 9er. Cheap to buy 2nd hand, great engine, but definitely lacking in suspension and definitely need a re-tune.

Thanks for your input........

Bike has updated map from Yamaha and is smoother then my 07 919 in B mode and about the same in std mode. A mode is like riding a rocket. Regardless it power wheelies at will in std mode. Never had a problem keeping the front wheel down with my 919.

My 919 with F2i forks handled better, but stock to stock it's pretty close. Just have to crank the setting up on the FZ's a bit.

I'm confused. Did you buy it? Are you going to buy it? Or are you just posting something that you found interesting?

Ive ridden one, Not long enough to tell how the suspention is.

I didn't notice anything twitchy about the fueling.

Riding my friend's FZ09 in A Mode, or fast mode, whatever they call it, was a whole lot like riding my 990 Super Duke. You can tell it was built to a price point, tho. KTM built the best bike they could, then put a pricw on it.

Have you been to a 3rd world country? Let alone the VA or homeless shelter in this country?

Not really sure why you need to introduce the living conditions of other countries nor the VAs in this discussion. Some what out of place in a motorcycle forum.

Apparently other countries aren't "in this world" and veterans don't fall under "everyone"... Shit, I think I need to retake my English class

Again...not too sure why you'd want to jack this thread out of direction. A lot of anger in your reply. Perhaps you need a "safe space" and "pony" to rub?

Since when is a vocabulary lesson angry?

Also, how is Jay Leno's Y2K bike on topic for the thread if we're going to play that card?

$4850 seems reasonable enough. But l would have to do the front and rear suspention. Then front brake lines. I would have $7K in in very soon. Which is all well and good, until it was time to sell it. And all l would be able to get back out of it is $4850.......

Did you say you had an aftermarket reflash or is it an updated map from Yamaha? These have been on my short list for a while (rode a demo FZ09 and fell in love)... It's just too bad my VFR depreciated so fast.
