***SOLD***2002 Honda 919 - South Carolina

Well, I was hoping this day would never come... Selling the 919 because of a new addition to our lives. We had a baby girl in January and I hadn't ridden since she was born. So, here it is.

Iíve had this bike since 2010 and itís been nothing but reliable and an absolute joy to ride. Iíve never had the slightest issue with this bike. Had a lowside up in the mountains about 6 years (20k miles) ago which left the right exhaust can a little scratched and a little rash on the rear hugger. Other than the cosmetic issues that I never fixed, never had any issues from it and I rode it home from the lowside.

48,8xx miles

Has the following extras:
Sargent seat (Sargent Seats - Honda CB 919 Premium Foam Upgrade)
New Michelin Pilot Road 4 tires (less than 50 miles)
New gel battery
National Cycle F16 windscreen (not currently mounted)
Relatively new DID X-link chain and sprockets 520 ZVM-X 17/44 (Honda 919 520 Conversion Kit with 17/44 Sprockets)
Renthal UL bars with bar end mirrors (stock mirrors and bars/weights included)
Debaffled stock exhaust
Clear blinkers (have original blinkers)
Have new uninstalled OEM spark plugs
Honda Service Manual

Great looking bike, great price, nice mods.

About the only concern I'd have if I were a buyer would be the valve check and any engine checks like a leak down. IDK if you have the tools to do that, I did a leak down on my prior bike with a Harbor Freight tool for cheap. The valve check is a bit more involved but not too bad.

What about the fork seals, with those miles people will be concerned with the last fork seal job.

It's probably due a valve check as the last valve check was about 22k miles ago and per Honda it's a 16k service interval. I never had any issue though and the bike runs/pulls strong and I can't hear any valve noise. The fork seals have not been replaced as long as I've had the bike, but it's also been kept in the garage so there are probably less cracking issues than a bike that's been kept outside. The forks haven't had any leaks and the seals don't have any cracks.

Garage
I feel your pain, Since I have had my kids (8 and 10 now) My riding time has gone downhill, I sold my Beloved SV when I had the first kid, bought a Ninja 250 after the second was born and used it for commuting. Then sold that once I got a company car and bought the 919. In the 3 years I have owned the 919 I probably only have put 3-4 k miles on it but its a nice escape from the kids and wife when I can ride. I recommend keeping it even if you only get to ride it once in awhile.
