2005 919 $2500

I bought this bike three years ago and went over the whole thing. Tore down everything, had the frame and swing arm powdercoated. Rebuilt the motor. Rebuilt the forks with race tech1 kg\mm springs (220lb rider). All new bearings everywhere. Color is a 2015 dodge metallic maroon. This was all done 8k miles ago. Bike has 53k on odometer. Within the last 1k miles I've replaced the chain and sprockets along with new michelen road trail tires. Givi top mount with 45L trunk, holds two helmets. Heated grips. Renthal bars. LED headlight. De-baffled. This thing isn't a garage queen but has been dead reliable and rides great.

Could you elaborate on what you mean by "rebuilt the motor?"

Rebuit motor... I wanted a fresh motor when I purchased the bike. Since I had it apart for powdercoat, I decided to go through the motor. I soda blasted all the grime and deposits from all the parts, put on fresh rings and bearings, honed the cylinders, measured everything according to the factory service manual, fresh clutch pack, lapped valves, cleaned up the fuel injectors, buttoned her all up. I did the assembly on my coffee table since it was a sanitary area and I could watch TV and have a brewski during the process lol.

I've done many rebuilds ranging from mazda rotaries to boat motors.

The color is a bit hard to photo. It looks more redish and metallic under false light, and more dark maroon in sunlight.

Awesome Job!

I know that some mods really don't add a lot of value when it comes time to sell, but I have to ask, WHY are you selling that for $2,500?

You've got quite a few of the "known good" things.

I know the rebuilt motor might not add a whole lot because someone could buy a 20~30K mile bike and it can make it to 100K with no problems, but that's one damn clean bike.

Other than the rear shock and PCIII, I don't know what you're missing.

Looks like a real bargain.

Thanks KarlJay. Like I had said, most of this work was done a couple years ago and I have used it as a daily rider for a good period of time. I took it on a trip from WA down to central CA, up through Denver to Sturgis, across MT and back home. Was a great ride. So, it shows 8k miles worth of use. I recently picked up a 1967 Impala that I am going to restore, and I rebuilt a Geo Metro to commute with, so a few things need to move along to create some space in my garage. These aren't extremely popular bikes, so I'm hoping for a quick sell.

My kinda shop. I just painted a 66 chevelle SS396 last year. I'm working on a 66 mustang v8 conversion and a 280ZX Turbo conversion project.

I'd love to have a nice shop like that.

Yes, and it begs for a 427 paired up with a Hurst topped Muncie.
For me, and I don't know why, there's something about full size 67 Chevs with 427s.
Probably because I saw some back in the day.
Of course, for the ultimate sleeper, it should be a Biscayne with moon capped steel wheels.
