That's a nice looking bike. You've done a lot and keep it in good condition.
Good price too.

Thank you. Unfortunately even at that price I am getting people low balling me.

You need to rethink this. $2K is a steal. Sell off the bits, get replacements as needed. Example, sell the luggage, tuner, amp, shield, etc... If someone wants something and it's required, make them give you their replacement.

Just as an example, every add on that isn't needed to run. Luggage, wind shield, led side lights, engine savers...

Anything that requires replacement, require their exchange in working order... gauges, shock, forks, headlight.

If you net $800 from all the parts, then sell for $1,800 and your ahead of the game.

Here's the reality of selling a bike (or car) basically every non-stock add on is a full waste of money. You actually get more money for a bone stock bike in most cases, but in all cases, you get MUCH less that what was paid. You can offer these things at 1/2 off and come out ahead.

There's a lot of people here that will take those part right quick. Think about this, if those parts weren't there, how much less would you be able to ask for? It's not that much work to bring it back to stock, and you can stop at any point, meaning you can sell 1/2 the stuff, then stop and still be ahead of the game.

I would ask the exact same amount for the bike.

Exactly. These really are great bikes, yet for some reason, people are letting them go cheap. I don't get it, how is the 919 any worse than the same year range Ducati Monster or ZRX?

Is the Monster or ZRX better? Why do they want 1.5~2X the money for those?

The 919 is really a great bike, not perfect, but great, yet people are trying to beat people up over a price that's already a bargain.

I saw where my other bike was fetching more money (Nighthawk 700S) and it's 20 year older, doesn't have 17" tires (no radials, few choices).

These bikes really should be $1K more than what they're going for.

Like said above, this is a ridiculous deal and I would also suggest selling off some of the kit to try to net more money... you'll likely have good luck on this forum getting rid of most of it... If I didn't already have a 919 in the garage I'd be on my way to florida to pick this one up... very well set up and a phenomenal price, although the miles will definitely scare away some of the less knowledgeable people looking at it.

I wish I had the time to take the bits and pieces off. Other than the luggage, everything is hard wired and would take hours to uninstall...lol.

They are from a company called "ADVMonster." They are ridiculously bright and not at all expensive. The spot lights on the frame sliders are always on and the flood light under the head light comes on with the high beam. I never say things like "I wish I had better lights."

Niiiice. I wish I'd been able to swipe the luggage racks from it... finding racks for my 9er has been an exercise in futility.

Amazing price, too bad I wasn't in the market. That should have gone for 50% more.

Oh, I don't disagree. I was hit by a barrage of low ballers and people with zero clue of how good of bike the 919 truly is.
