Selling my '03 Honda 919 located in Knoxville, TN. Never crashed, dropped once in gravel, small scuff on engine cover and right bar end, no other damage. Just took a trip to South Dakota on it and I wouldnt hesitate to go again. 43 liter side cases and 55 liters top case. Led turn signals. Aftermarket mirrors and adjustable brake/clutch levers. SWMotech Crash bars for highway pegs and engine protection. Givi luggage large enough to hold 2 cocker spaniels, 2 turkeys, and 2 weeks worth of fruit rollups. Luggage alone was $1500+. Brand new rear tire, pilot Road 4 GT, front has 85% tread, also a PR4 GT. Front and rear sprocket have been changed for Vortex sprockets and super lite x ring 530 black and gold chain for more accurate Speedometer and lower rpms for better gas mileage. +1 in front, -1 in the rear. This thing still runs like a scalded dog in the corners and lots of low end torque. Has a Throttlemeister throttle lock for those long stretches of highway. 18k miles. Oil and fluids changed every season. Front fork and rear shock we're serviced and rebuilt last year.

I know I've got a low post count. I've been a member since 2014, just don't do the forum thing anymore. Any questions don't hesitate to ask! It's cross posted as well.

Luggage

Would you be willing to sell your panniers and pannier racks? I have the top mount and givi v47 top case. Probably get more $ with those sold separately........

I'm going to keep it all together right now. I really don't want to spend the time to take it off. Haha. Plus I'll be riding until I sell it so I'll need the bags. If I get desperate I'll consider it!

Lowering to $3500, a little negotiable, removing Givi luggage and rocks (not for sale currently.) 25,000 miles, apparently I've been riding it a lot! Mileage will increase, I'm still riding her like ScarJo!

It's interesting to see that these bikes can hold up so much.
I dunno...but I can see using the side bags...but that huge wind collector in the back?....Dunno...yes, it makes for a lot of luggage storage but hell....might as well put a parachute in the back of that 919 while you are ridin' down the street.

This isn't a discussion of my choices for storage on my motorcycle. It's a discussion for selling said motorcycle. So take your negative comments and go somewhere else. It has little to no effect on MPG when you ride a naked sport bike. The rider is a much bigger parachute than an aerodynamically shaped trunk behind the rider.

don't take any more sensitivity pills dude...relax. only a comment.
As someone once told me on the net............."Oh whelp, someone on the internet doesn't agree with what I wrote"..................try to look at it like that and you wont get so upset.

Just sayin'.
Hope you sell her quickly.

Bump! Reviving an old thread. Just bought a new ADV bike so I need this one gone. $3200 without the luggage. I'll sell the luggage separately. I have a post about that here as well.
