XR100, or a CRF100

Keep your eyes open out there people. I am seriously looking for one of these now. Trying not to break the bank account, because I want to upgrade the suspension for larger riders. Thanks, and Shin-digs are evil temptresses that make me spend money.

You can't beat those things for fun! I bought my wife an XR80 a couple years ago and I beat the tar outta that thing, usually with her screaming "DON'T BREAK MY BIKE!!" I don't think I could kill it if I tried.

If I break down and buy one, I will take it to Ridge's house in NC. You drive or fly up and I will let you ring the snot out of it.

Of course man. I have 120 acres next to a lake, and access to a 500+ acre wildlife preserve 15 minutes North of my house.

If we have it next to the lake, it will be truly roughing it. I don't think stringing dropcords together will cover that distance. Generators will be on double duty for amenities. And nothing like jumping in the lake first thing in the morning for that wake up call. With the way some of these characters wreck bikes, we might have some wet XR's.

Southern Honda in TN has 07's brand new for $1,900. Dunno if I want to go used or new. I am thinking used, so I will have enough money left over for suspension upgrades.

You'll have to give us a review of the 80. I'm curious as to how much difference there is between the two. Supposedly, the 80 is just a smaller engine in the 100 frame.

I have a week off for Christmas.
I am driving to Raliegh after dinner and then I would only be one hour away from your house.... We could drive out there.... We could bring them back for our own Christmas Gifts.... We could break them in that week.... Bionic may have the time to come up and help....

With the size of the adventure bikes you boys have, you should be able to strap these hot rods on the back. I figure they can't weigh anymore than one of Mikey's girlfriends!

Just got home from the Suzuki Dealer. He has a couple of 06 DR-Z125Ls left.

$2650 OTD

$450 more than the Honda with Disc Brake up front, larger motor and high seat height.
