No, but I have the Renthal UL and might go to the Coerce soon. Too much rise with the Renthal.

Interested in a pre-cut and drilled ULs for cheap?

hmm, well I actually already have lowered bars (off a Monster) on my 919, but I think they are a little too straight. I was thinking about getting the Suburban Machinery bars cuz they are more angled like clip-ons. How straight or angled are the Renthal UL's?

LW,

How far are you from USC?

If you want to check it out, I could run down to Starbucks on Hoover and Jefferson. I like the scenery down there.

Yeah, we do a lot of work down there.
It's pretty hard to concentrate on work on a hot sunny day.

How's 11 sound?

BTW They have a 3 second rule at USC; you're not supposed to look for longer than 3 seconds. Yeah, right. Sue me.

LW,

Check out this thread: https://www.wristtwisters.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=14288

Suburban Machinery link in post #4; looks pretty nice but mirrors are probably useless.

hmm, those convertibars seem interesting, but way too expensive. thx for the info tho. I've thought briefly about actual clip-ons, but i think they'd make the seating position too aggressive.

so, to whomever it may concern:

i'm still looking for some Suburban Machinery bars.

Yeah, I like the Coerce because it's 2" lower than the ULs with almost the same pullback. Should put me in a better riding position.

Too lazy to do the work though.

I love my Renthal ULs. However I keep finding myself wanting to try coerce or suburban machinery bars. Not out of necessity, merely out of a desire to change things.

Out of curiosity, what would you want for your Ultra Lows if LeatherWings doesn't take them? I was going to order some from DennisKirk this winter, but for the right price I'll give my money to an individual who needs it.

Didn't really want to hassle with shipping, but I was thinking 40-45 with black Renthal bar-ends. One on left is a little scratched. I paid 60 for bars and 30 for the ends.

Also, not in a hurry; dirt riding season is almost here, so the YZ is the priority right now. Need to get levers and maybe new pegs.

Thats a fair price that Sokali is asking. I paid 62 for bars and 40 for bar ends and ended up giving bar ends away.

Interesting. That means my lanesplitter bars have about the same rise as the Coerce, but are 130mm narrower! How much can you cut off the ends of the Renthal UL's?

Rob

If it has already been done, it is safe to assume it is possible to do it.
On the other hand, if it has not been done never assume it is impossible to do it.

40mm/side appears to be the max. for cutting the ends.

Your lanesplitters are perfect with bar-end mirrors.
Problem is, I don't like bar-end mirrors; that's the reason for my decision to try the Coerce. I'm assuming the Coerce will work with oem style mirrors and that it won't have clearance issues with the fuel tank.

I just bought an 02 with these bars and I want to trade them for stock or sell out right. Let me know if interested. Thanks, Ron
