WTB Nice, Low Miles 919, 04 or Newer, Baltimore/DC

I'll have cash and be ready to buy on September 17. Would prefer black or red but anything except green might do. Looking for low miles, nothing above 10,000.

Would prefer stock or at least with original parts so it can be put back to stock someday.

I've been watching 919s on eBay for months and I think I'm correct in saying no used 919 within 300 miles of Baltimore has been bid above $4500. Most are less than that so I'm viewing that as current market value.

I know of a couple right now in my price range but would like to find one closer or maybe with lower miles.

Let me know if you're looking to sell what I'm looking to buy.

Yeah, I've seen a few green 919s but I'm just not interested in that particular color.

My bad; I skimmed over that comment in the original post.

Hmmmm. What condition are your Black parts? That's the matte black, right?

I've been ignoring green bikes entirely. In fact, I think the only one close to me is green. I might have to check it out.

Is there any difference in the parts from '02 and later '04 and newer?

Nothing wrong with green! It just clashes with my pink outfit......................

KIDDING!!!!!!!!

My opinion might change. I thought I wanted black. Now I think I like red better. Somebody said red was faster, too!

I'm psyched! If things go according to plan, I'll be buying my 919 on 9/19!

Dude, you have an awesome deal there, no doubt. If only you were closer.

I think I have a couple decent options within a day's drive from me. I'll probably end up paying a little more to the seller but won't have to pay for shipping. And I won't have the long distance transaction issue either.

Have you had any serious interest on your bike? Do you have it on Craigs List?

If you do, make sure it's listed so a search for "honda 919" finds it.

If you can wait til spring, it'll probly sell quick for more $$.

I have something lined up for Saturday, 9/19 that I'm going to stick with for now.

If that falls through for some reason, I'll keep yours in mind.

I really feel bad for anybody trying to sell a bike right now.

I'm thinking maybe 1 or 2 of my friends will be so jealous when I get mine that they'll want one too. If that happens, I'll have several I can point them to.

Good luck with yours.

p.s. A couple suggestions that you may have already done. Make sure a search for "Honda 919" finds your bike. Post it on several CraigsList sites, not just one.
