WTB Airbox

Hi guyz,

The bike I recently bought spent too much time outside and the airbox plastic has faded to a light grey color, so I'm looking to get one that is still in the BLACK COLOR.

Let me know if you have one.

Removing the airbox is a pain in the ass. Just try to get some plastic refurbishing crap, or paint it black. Maybe wrap the exposed areas with vinyl.

Oh, I forgot that guys on thumpertalk would use a heat gun on their faded plastic gas tanks - heating it just enough to make the outside 'shiny' would restore color and sheen.

Could try that as well.

Make sure if you do heat it I think an actual heat gun works best.. I do NOT recommend using a torch you will have a tough time applying even heat to the plastic which may cause it to melt

I've got an airbox I'd be willing to part with (no pun intended). Let me know if you'd be interested.
