WTB: 929/954 lower triple clam

Anyone have a 929 or 954 lower triple clamp they want to sell?

I'm starting to pre-fit parts for my front-end project and noticed that the lower triple I got off ebay a while back is slightly bend on one side

I might have an extra one in the shed at my mothers house, I'm going over there today to help set up her Christmas tree, I'll rummage around and see if I can find it.
Has anyone considered using the triples off of the newer 599 with the USD forks? are the tubes the same diameter as the RC51? Anyone?

Dan

I brought this up some time ago but I think it was determined that those forks are a couple millimeter's smaller.

Be easy enough to machine open the holes a bit. Use a Honing boar and do it yourself.

I just priced them on Service honda and it would be under 200 for the top and lower.

I appreciate you taking the time to look around for the clamp Dan! Let me know what you find.

Is that for the 599 triples or the 929? I checked BikeBandit.com for the 929 lower and it's over $400.

for the 599, I'm sure the price difference is because they are a cast part vs. machined.
