WTB: 919 Forks, Levers

Looking for the usual 04+ 919 forks (one of mine is leaking and it would seem to be an opportune time to upgrade) and a set of stock levers. If you have them, post up or PM me. May be interested in any other stock/OEM parts you have, such as a seat, bar end assemblies, rearsets, etc. Thanks!

Might as well be looking for a good set of F4i forks on e-bay also... They're plug n play.

Hm. Any difference in spring rates or similar? And what years F4i, or will any of them do?

For that matter, I see a number of 'stunter' types selling what they claim to be complete and good-shape F4i front ends on some of the local forums - why are the stunters selling them off?

Unless you want to replace the seals and other stuff.....stay clear of the stunter stuff.....any year F4i or even F4 for that matter. BTW - you will need an F4i fender......everything else is identical.

I'd recommend new springs (set to your weight and riding style) for ANY new set of forks.....wether it be newer model 919, F4, or F4i. I'd recommend calling Traxxion Dynamics for springs.....they're the same price as everyone else and extremely helpful over the phone. (around $100 per set)

What am I looking at needing to replace if I get a set from the stunting crews?

stunter forks need to be checked for straight and i'd replace the bushings and seals. they're replacing their's with 600rr usd forks, just to be cool because i'm sure they are shorter than the f4i/919 forks

Well, the set I was going to look at was sold before I got there - so I'm still in the hunt.

Bumping a bit - thought out the F4I fork swap and I don't think I want to do that - rather have actual 919 bits now (and retain my fender). Anyone got some 919 forks they're interested in getting rid of?

Also, got levers, don't need those any more.

Have apparently found forks, probably will not need others now.
