WTB: 599 Instrument Housing

Need the front instrument housing for an '04-'05 Honda 599. Turns out that Honda sells all the instrument cluster parts individually, except for that one, go figure

Not interested in spending $700 for a whole cluster, anybody have one by any chance? Cuz ours looks like this...

It's the part on the right of the diagram, next to #19:

If nothing else, you can paint that piece, it would probably hide the damage enough that it won't be noticable.

I'd watch ebay till one came up, might be a while, and just use silver paint to cover it up until you find one.

'02 Honda 919 - She's the only one for me!

I've already sanded it down and touched it up, surprisingly silver nail polish was an almost exact match. I've decided to buy an OEM Honda windscreen and paint it yellow to match the bike, it will hide the front of the instrument cluster. Hopefully someday I will find a used piece, I posted on the Honda599.com forum and also will keep an eye on ebay.

The wonders of nail polish...

Keeping the stock signals, but have clear lenses for front and rear from Clear Alternatives, as well as a clear taillight lense. Think they'll look nice on that color bike.

Have a ton of replacement parts to install this weekend, should also receive the modified and lowered seat back today. I'll post more pics when we're all done with her.

Well a guy over on Honda599.com gave me a part number for the outer case, going to check it out first of the week. Hope he's right, only about $30.
