A motorcycle shop not far from me has a brand spanking new 2005 Suzuki RM 125 on the floor listed at $5099. I checked the KBB retail value which sits at $2885. What do you folks feel would be a fair offer?

I have heard reports of people buying left over 125s new like that for around 3000 but that is probably the exception rather than the rule. As soon as its in your truck instead of inside the showroom its only worth $2885

Well after weeks of searching I found a new machine. It is a little more than I wanted but I could not pass up the deal. I got myself a 2001, low hour, Yamaha YZ250. It came with two sets of plastics, graphics sheets, three tuned chambers, a few set of bars, pegs, reeds, and a couple of silencers. It is a pretty clean example and at $1800 I just could not let it fall into the hands of others.

I will have pics next weekend. I had to slide it into storage before I can get some workspace to give it a good cleaning and once over. This weekend is all about the playoff game in GB!

PS:Bryce919er, Thanks for the heads up on the not so smokin deal!

Now that the Pack is done with work for the season the YZ will be coming out of storage for a good once over. I will be getting it to the workshop tomorrow morning and pictures are sure to follow. So it soon becomes up the the ground hog how long I will have to wait to get out and ride.

Well here it is. Took all the plastic off last night to get them cleaned up and get some fresh graphics put on. Once I had the Carb and tank cleaned out and fresh gas added she fires on the first kick. Even in the cold!
