This may be hard to find considering it requires a stock seat to make the sargeant seat. I have not seen any for sale ever now that I think of it.

Actually there was one for sale on this site about two or three weeks ago and I missed it. It is rare, but thought I would give it a shot.

Set up an automated eBay search for one too.

If that pans out you could always send your stock seat to Spencer Mods over the Winter. He does miracles with stock seats for about 1/4 the cost of buying an aftermarket seat.

I'll keep my eyes open for one though...

Thanks Ken. Never heard of spencer mods. He does some nice work, eh? All I am looking for is a seat I can take some long trips on and is still low profile. I wouldn't mind savin a few bucks. You know anyone who has a seat by him? I am very interested.

Lots of people - check his site for customer review links. They are from all over on many different bikes - ST's, FJR, Stroms, Bandits, you name it. He'll sculpt and pad the seat to your liking, with measurements and all. The guys over on st-owners.com rave about him daily. And he was featured in the September Rider magazine on page 78 for his custom seat work. Great guy too!

I just checked it out. Seems like good stuff. I emailed him with a few questions. I think I will go this route. I like supporting fellow riders anyway. Thanks for the help. I will post up and let everyone know how it goes. It's $50!!

Would love to hear your impressions after you get it back. I'll be shipping out the Bandit seat to him over the Winter so I don't have downtime during our limited ride season. Can't wait to hear back!

Just caught this thread and I would love to hear the review as well. I keep saying I'm going to send my seat out to sergeant whenever I go for a long ride but never end up doing so.

This Spencer mods seems like an outstanding deal!

That looks like a very sweet deal. I am going to have to look into doing that, but I really don't have a off season down here though. Says he has a 1-2 day turn around. So it won't be that long.

I have emailed him a few times recently and have not heard back. Has anyone had any work done by him over the winter? If so, what was done and how did it turn out? I am ready to send two seats to him, but need to contact him first. All input appreciated.
