I use the 9er for sport touring and some backroad stuff. I run Metzler Roadtec Z6. They get pretty good milage and handle the rain well.

+2 on the Metz sneakers. I ran an 880 rear and Z6 front on my ST13 and got great stick and mileage.

If you decide on the Pilot Power or 2CT, let me know. Might be able to help.

Cheers!

Don't have them on yet, but I spoke with my service rep at a local shop today who told me he is on his third set of Pilot Powers and he said that they are the stickiest street tires he has riden and offer reasonable tire life.

Mine go on Tuesday...

I use mine for a commuter......about 500 miles a week......sometimes I get get aggressive in the corners, but I don't ride it like it was a racebike. I'm running the pilot powers now and like them.
