Clearing out some stuff I have sitting around. First I have bearings and seals for the rear tire. There is another bearing the the hub that the sprocket bolts to that I dont have, but I have everything else. Second the 3- piece Tech-Spec tank pad set. Never got around to putting them on, still in the plastic. As for gear I have a pair of Fly racing boots. Wore them about 20 times, size 46 Euro and 12 US sizing seems to be right on the fit me very well. Nelson Riggs tailbag. Lots of storage all around, many pockets inside measures 9x9x18.
The tailbag has a rain fly with a heavy elastic drawstring around the middle to keep it from flapping. Also the 4 straps that hold the bag down fit right through the rain fly. So there is no chance of it coming off.
Tailbag is sold. Still for sale are the Fly Racing boots size 12 and a pair of First Gear mesh pants size 36. I just washed them this spring and they are perfect. No rips or stains. Padded hips and knees 2 front pockets and one just above the right knee. Fit nice and snug they don't flap in the wind at all.
Nope. Amoebas, parasites, and two strains of E. Coli that you're not supposed to have.
Been there, done that.
Supposedly I'm cleaned out now, but I still eat like a racehorse.
Legitimate question on the boots - are they waterproof?
I believe they were marketed as water resistant. I have worn them in the rain a few times and always stayed dry. It was never very long though 20-30mins. Not sure how they would hold up in an all day rain. They seem to be a decent entry level boot.
