***SOLD*** NJ 2003 919 for sale, some mods

ok, here it is. Call me crazy but I need to regain my garage space.

2003 Honda 919. garage kept. 18620 miles

list of mods:
RC51 front end mod:
RC51 forks revalved with Ohlins fluid and new seals. RC51 front wheel/rotors
599 Headlight with 599 fearing. Gauges were swapped to f4i unit to fit the fearing. All functions on gauges work perfect, including gas reserve and engine temp reading.
Carbon fiber front fender.
Rear shock was rebuilt by Ohlins dealer with Ohlins spring, new valving and bigger remote reservoir with comp adjustment in addition to rebound.
Reworked seat.
Sato Gen I exhaust which was repacked at the end of last season.
T-Rex Frame sliders, SS brake lines, smoked LED tail light
New sprockets with gold DID chain
Doesn't include Matris steering damper (last pic)
Will also include rear CBR wheel to match the front.
New OEM YUASA battery as of last season.

All for a low price of $4000 firm (should I ask more?? what 9ers are going for these days?)

stock parts include front wheel, gauges, triples, fender etc. (whatever I got left, forks and stock seat were sold)

^^ around there is a good starting price. For those that know what this bike is worth. Heck, the front end is worth a grand at least. Pipes $400-500.

Wheel conversion another couple hundred at least. Ohlins, another $400-500.

That's true... but you typically don't get your mod costs back in selling price. Parting it off would yield much more money.

That front end is beautiful though... so tempted

This is a crazy deal! You are literally giving that beautiful bike and all that hard work away for $$..... take the time and part it out you will pocket more cash and make a few members happy.

PART IT OUT ..... do it for yourself & do it for WT!

Very true, but having gone through exactly this (having a heavily modified bike and parting it out), if someone like myself were in the market for a bike already done 'tastefully'? I'd be all over this in a heartbeat.

Just keep it ugly ..... get buzzed up on a few beers and tear off the seat, fork, pipes & front end. Then list them immediately and go to sleep. I can almost guarantee everything will be sold/claimed come the next morning when you wake up.

Actually he would end up sending the pizza to the suspension shop, and they would report back to Hondad about how messed up and yucky it was ...... all the toppings are totally off center!!!

Haha just waiting for the belly pan to dry. That would be an interesting gesture though.

Pizza man: "Pizzas here!"

Hondad: "I didn't order a pizza"

Pizza man: "says it's from wolf?"

(Pizza man is then kicked in the nuts and the door shuts)

No way would I sell that bike for that price, I'm sry but you have put too much into to sell it for that. If I could sell mine to buy yours I would. I've always love that front end on that bike and sadly I'll never be able to affordable it. Hope we don't loose you as a member too. Seem to have lost a lot of older senior members after they sold there 9er's. Good luck with whatever you decide to do with her. Str8
