**SOLD**Honda 919 stock seat $100 + shipping

I bought a new seat which I sent to Sargent to be modified so I no longer need the original. It's in fine shape with the exception of one minor rub spot on the underside edge of the cover - see pic. It's not torn but just worn from being on and off the bike. The seat pan is perfect and would work great for a Sargent or other seat mod. I'll take $100 plus actual shipping. PM me if interested and I'll get a quote.

No takers so far so I set it up on a 3-day eBay auction. $130 will get it to you if you live in the lower 48 states.

eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices

Seat didn't sell at $80 so I'll just stick in back in the closet for now - obviously wrong time of year to be selling motorcycle stuff. No rush. If anyone needs a seat just send drop me a line.

Well, we've also had people on this site pretty much give stock seats away for change or even just shipping, so I guess we're spoiled.

When did someone on WT sell a pristine stock seat for less than $80? You trying to get me to give it away? I know 919 people are cheap asses and my M.O. is already buy high and sell low but I ain't giving it away. I'd rather cut it up and experiment with it.

I didn't suggest anything for you to do, it's your seat. I was only stating what has been seen on here before.

When Corbins go for $450+ on ebay and we sell them internally here for $350+ it's the same thing.

I was just letting you know a possible reason why you haven't gotten any bites on it is all.

Do me a favor and don't reply to any of my posts in an attempt to teach me about supply and demand. I understand it quite clearly.

Good grief mambo, you are way edgy lately... You know there are many brands of de-caf that taste just as good as the real thing. Barring that take two bran muffins and try again in the morning

I don't need or want advice from you or Mr. Smith's ridiculous golden plates. I don't need the money and just offered it for sale on WT at what I thought was a very good price, just as I've done with other 919 items that I've sold recently. Usually the item is gone within 24 hours because I price things cheaply. This one will go soon enough.

then dont post on here? jeeez dude you really should just take a chill pill and mellow out. he was trying to show you reasons as to possibly why there were no bites. had nothing to do with telling you what you needed to do with your seat at all.

there's no reason or need to get defensive and you're getting all heckled up for nothing.

Gee, I was under the impression that WT was a great place of riding buddies and that advice would be welcome.

I guess I was wrong. Next time you sell something, please post that you don't want any replies in your thread, just cash on your doorstep.

Clearly I'm being sarcastic. Lighten up, man. I didn't intend to offend, so don't take it, cuz it's not there.

Mambo - you are getting into a bad habit lately of posting and then shitting on everyone who replies.

Two options: chill out or go away

I'll take the 2nd option Ottawa which will please you

Look, this was a well-intentioned post. Try to view it through my lens.

1. I have been cleaning out a closet full of extra 919 bits because I need the room for an undocumented worker/sex slave to sleep.

2. I tend to price my used items cheap.

3. I posted here and on e-Bay in the form of a very short 3-day auction for a reason - I am traveling tomorrow and thought that anyone who may need a cheap seat fast could bid and I could have it on the way to them today. I don't need the money.

4. It didn't sell so in post #6 I stated "hey guys still have the seat - will let slave use it as a pillow - shoot me a line if anyone needs one.

Done, end of story, thread done, or so I thought.

Peanut Gallery response from google to tell me "hey dude maybe your item didn't sell because you priced it to high - people on WT are used to getting stuff for nothing" Advice? Are fucking kidding me? I am not a bad guy - just forget how big the peanut gallery is on the Internet and sometimes get astounded at the ridiculous responses.

Mambo, with due respect you chose to take offense, and continue to choose to take offense even after googl3 said no offense was meant by it. he was trying to help you not feel so bad or whatever. you have GOT to stop viewing people as out to get you or judging you, it gets old quick. we mean well here..

btw, any luck with the sex slave?

just dont end up like bobby, strung up by the balls

No, you are not a bad guy, yer an a$$hole which is ok too as I fully support anyone's right to be themselves. I prefer being a prick myself and I am damn good at it, but that is just me. The deal is though you have to be able to take it as well as you can dish it out and that is where you fail.

I'd much rather be reading about piston face combinations and spring rates for 919 rear shocks or other such things.
Is there some way we can positively jack this thread ?
How about something seasonal instead.
Christmas is coming, how about that ?
