***SOLD*** Full 900RR Low pipe exhaust

I'm selling a direct bolt up 900RR header and low pipe. Once the headers are on, it's 5 minute job and you're done. The previous owner did the work and wrapped the mid-pipe connection, but I felt it actually looked better without the wrap. I can include enough black wrap for free if requested. There is a gasket in place but you can see the canister mounted backwards is nearly a perfect fit to the end of the header.

It comes with both carbon Danmoto pipes, both ready to mount but the one on the bottom of the last pic is the one in the pics of the system mounted. You will have NO issues mounting this system. Welding would certainly be an option but it does not leak, especially when wrapped. The pipe on the top in the pic has been used but not nearly as much, so I'd imagine it's a bit quieter, but basically you have a spare. As you can see it's not brand new but most certainly looks great and does everything low pipes on the 919, are intended to do.

Shipping on this monster (in the US) would be determined by UPS zone, to be figured out after the sale. I'll get a quote and add it to the selling price w/receipt after shipping upon request.

I don't want to piss anyone off, but I'm going to try an do an auction. If enough people just want me to post a price and be done with it I will, but as of now I've sent a reserve price to a forum administrator and will end the auction on the 26th of December at 8:00PM MST.

This is not eBay and this is not how WT works. You want a bidding war, take it to eBay. Otherwise list a price and be done with it. If it's a fair price, it'll sell.

Do mufflers work properly when they are mounted backwards (like that one is)? I just recognize the can as one of the Dan Moto Carbon fiber cans, and the hooks go towards the front usually.. Just curious as far as functionality?

It does mount backwards, maybe an expert could chime in and let us know if it makes a difference.

I only ask because most mufflers I have ever seen have a direction arrow or something similar...

I'd like to but it's a good selling point.

I'm really surprised no one has jumped on this with all the complaining about the stink. I may have to end up keeping it, then I'll sell off the extra pipe.

I'm surprised as well! I'm welding together a low mount exhaust using the stock 919 header and find myself needing a slip on pipe since my 2-brothers exhaust is flanged and need something a little more compact.

What kind of price would you want out of the spare muffler?

Have you tried replacing the fuel pressure regulator and running 87 octane fuel? My stink went away just from running the correct octane fuel.
