***SOLD***FS: (USA, NE) 2002 Honda 919

Adult-owned 2002 Honda CB900F (919) in the original matte gunpowder black metallic.
I bought this bike in March of 2006 with just shy of 8k miles on it.
Currently has 26426 well-treated miles with no abuse, clean Nebraska title in-hand.

This bike has always been garage-kept (and usually covered) as long as I've owned it.
I've ridden in the rain twice, the front wheel has never left the ground and has never been red-lined.
I have detailed maintenance records & receipts for the important stuff.
The longest interval between oil changes since I've owned it was 4309 miles.
Maxum4 10w-40 and Purolator PL14612 filter is all I've ever used.

MODS -

Engine/Exhaust:
Power Commander
Yoshimura CF tri-oval slip-ons
PAIRS removal with block-off plates

Brakes:
Galfer Stainless brake lines (front and back)
Galfer wave rotor (rear)

Suspension:
Set up for 200lb rider (this bike was used for a lot of 2up riding)
RaceTech .9kg springs in front forks
PENSKE Adjustable rear shock

Tires:
Front - Metzler Roadtec Z6
Rear - Battlax BT021 180/55ZR17

Other:
• Renthal Ultra-Low handlebars
• Trackside Bar End Mirrors
• adjustable shorty levers (not pictured)
• Ducati turn signals up front
• Integrated turn signal in rear
• 115db PIAA Sport Horns (400Hz & 500Hz)
• T-Rex frame sliders
• aftermarket aluminum footpegs

Asking price is $3750 with a few extras thrown in:
• Honda Factory Service Manual
• Lockhart Phillips Universal rear stand
• BikeBandit motorcycle cover
• Trickle Charger
(Miscellaneous stock take-off bits are also available)
I'm willing to negotiate on price a bit depending on arrangement of extras.

I will be listing it on local craigslist, figured I'd offer up first dibs to the community that helped me put together this sexy beast.

Thanks WT

More pics can be posted if needed, this is all I have handy at the moment.

Abba Zaba, you my only friend.

I believe you should consider parting it out if you have the stock parts. You will yield far more money. Also make a bunch of folks here happy. Vultures... Attack!

^ Yeah, I'm considering it.
I expected the vultures to be circling by now too.

Part of me doesn't want to take the time to swap out the shock, but if anyone here is interested speak up... money motivates.

The only stock parts I have (going off of memory) PAIRS parts, footpegs, stock handlebar, turn signals (front and rear), brake lines, possibly the horn.
...I think that's about it.

^ thanks!!

BUMPFOR PRICE-DROP

$3150.00
(still includes the rear stand, charger, cover and service manual)

Realistically, the front tire is gonna need to be replaced next season - figured an allowance toward the cost of rubber is in order.

Is this still for sale? I have a friend I'm trying to convert to the world of the 919.

SOLD!!

I'm officially bike-less now
However, I feel it's in good hands and I hope it continues to provide smiles for the new owner.

Hopefully my 2-year old will continue to show interest and I can begin my life as a rider again along side him in another year or two or three.

I just got to see this bike in person and it looks very well maintained. I am now jealous. Now at work we have two 2002 matte black 919's parked side by side.

Very nice example, very fair price. Congratulations with the sale, and you'll have another motorcycle of your choice when the time is right.

No worries
