This is an independent back protector that offers far better protection than most pads in jackets. It straps around the waist so it will work with any jacket that has a removable back pad. You could use it as a daily, spirited rides, or track days.

My partner had one on in a huge crash. Hit a car at 60mph. She flew 5 car lengths. Along with other major injuries she cracked L5. People thought we were upset that the protector didnt work. It did. The protector was heavily damaged. If she had not had it on she would not be walking or worse.

I now wear one all the time, even have one for my trail bike.

These are worth every cent.

Measures 24" top to bottom. The belt is about 17" from the top so you need to measure where that lands for you and if it wouldn't be in the way or constricting. It's a stretch panel with Velcro so it will conform and stretch. The bottom portion of the protector shifts left and right for keeping centered even while pointing your body to one side.

What do you think PV?

Doesn't look like PV can use these. Any short riders out there looking for superior back protection?

BTT^

Makes me wonder which came first, Dainese or Veloce?? Striking resemblance between the two.

Bump. Don't know if I want to be "warm on the summer rides". I would be interested if it would fit, I'm 5'11", and would like my whole coccyx proteted.

Come to Seattle 7AM on Friday and I'll have you wait for me until 8:30AM when I wake up and maybe I'll buy the coffee.

Also there's a high possibility I'm not making the BBQ on Saturday. I have so much to do that I won't be able to until that day, including get my bike back from KFG racing
