**SOLD**FS again: Scorpio SR-i500 Two-Way FM Alarm System.

It`s back! I had this listed earlier and sold it to a local friend, he is selling his ZX-10R and getting out of the two wheeled scene for a bit. We are currently reverting his bike back to stock and unloading all his mods.

I am selling a Scorpio SR-i500 Two-Way FM alarm system. It is in great shape and works perfectly. Comes with universal wiring harness and a two-way paging remote. Waterproof two-way FM transceiver with perimeter sensor, battery backup and anti-hijack ignition disable feature.

Standard feature include:

-Long range FM transceiver (up to a 1/2 mile).

-Compact design (Dimensions: 3 11/16" X 2 3/4" X 7/8") *main control module

- Dual-axis accelerometer for detecting impact/inclination.

- Sealed with Polyurethane potting in accordance to OEM specification.

- Built-in 120dB multi-tone siren with soft chirp.

- Sensor violation display.

- Range and signal status display.

- Audible/vibrating alert

- Smart battery safeguard with motorcycle battery condition display.

- Flasing lights with memory.

- Remote motorcycle finder/Panic alarm.

- Clock with alarm.

- Programmable perimeter sensor with warn away that detects motion around the bike, protecting saddlebags, luggage and accessories.

- Built-in battery backup system that allows the pager to operate even if wires are cut or circumvented.

This system is great, but I already have a Gorilla Alarm on my 919 and don't need a second system right now.

Retailed for $400.....

Selling for $175 shipped with Canada and the lower 48

Was rushing around yesterday and did a copy/paste of the old add. I meant to drop the price and forgot.

Anyway this is a high end alarm, in perfect shape. Comes with all the harness's and manuals.

Asking $140 shipped.

Huh missed this post, allow me to reply now.

The sri-900 (same as the 500 series) sells for $249 on the scorpio site, it does not include the perimter sensor $36, or the hijack module $30, or the plug and play connector circuit $30.

So some quick basic math makes the comparable 900 series sytem....

$350.00 plus tax and shipping.

So final bottom line price is $140 shipped from canada. Probably going to cost me $30 to ship it.

Anyway bud i appreciate your useless info. Now fuck off.

Tempted. Do they make a plug n play harness for the Tuono?

I think someone was playing on my 919 once in the parking lot and did a 'soft-fall' on it; it had some scratches where it shouldn't have had from me or my garage.

Kinda like the idea of the bike yelling at kids to back off.

I also like the idea of the perimeter alarm...... bothers me to leave it in parking lot at work -- someone has been "flicking" my run/off switch more than once in the parking lot.

Ok here we go....

The main unit has a fused 12v lug that goes to the battery. (Memory and ignition off 12v signal)

ForumRunner_20130926_175013.jpg

The plug and play harness that is inclided is for a kawasaki. But can easily be wired into a 919. Or u can pick up a 919 (or any model) plug and play harness from Scorpio.

ForumRunner_20130926_175100.png

The plug and play harness has four wires that need to be tapped into the following.

- black = ground
- orange = tail light +
- grey = LH turn signal
- grey = RH turn signal

The black ground wire is the only one needed to make the unit work.

The other three allow the turn signal and tail flash to flash .... when arming - disarming - alarming. So these circuits are kawasaki specific cannon plugs on the harness i have.

It includes manuals four manuals for the main unir and all the accessories.

The hijack module and perimeter modules have never been installed or used.

Hopefully this is helpful.

Ian

I'll take a pass on this one - although I'm really tempted. It's only because I'm gauging the spare time I'll have to even install this thing, and I don't really have any. If there was a plug and play harness it might make it worth it, as I don't want to have to splice anything.
