This bike will change your life & your outlook towards it! Yeah, so on to the mods:

  • Forks have been refreshed by the previous owner. New Racetech springs, shorter top out springs, new seals & oil - Spring range is 170-220 lbs
  • Ho Hey Designs Billet top triple & CBR 954 lower triple with aluminum stem (I think)
  • Nitron Sport shock - Spring range is 180 - 220 lbs
  • Renthal Ultra Low handlebars
  • Renthal medium grips
  • Napolean mirrors - these provide excellent visibility
  • Refoamed & reupholstered seat - Not sure on the details but its a nice seat
  • OES frame sliders
  • Carbon fiber front fender
  • Pyramid Plastics fenda extenda
  • Pro-Tek foot pegs - Increases leg room by .5" & provides a lot more grip for your boots in the wet
  • ZX10 turn signals - very bright
  • Front & rear Venhill stainless brake lines
  • Smoked rear tail light
  • Upgraded Philips H4 bulb
  • Givi windscreen
  • CBR 900rr rear wheel with new Japanese "Nachi" bearings
  • Delkevic Slip On exhaust
Maintenance:
  • New spark plugs
  • Fresh brake fluid
  • Coolant flushed
  • Fresh oil change with Castrol 10w-40 full syn & Honda oil filter
  • Air filter in good shape
  • Chain shortened to 112 links & has plenty of life left
  • Bridgestone BT-023 tires in great shape & lots of life left - installed in Feb 2014

Over all good condition motorcycle with some scuff marks & small scratches normal for a 11 year old motorcycle. Bike is literally ready to ride & all it needs is a rider.

Will include whatever stock parts I have. (mirrors, stock triples, etc)

$4200 OBO

Yes, I bought this earlier this year; end of Jan. I have my eye set on something more suited for my needs/wants (wants mostly..) so here it is. I don't want to part it as it is now a very potent & capable all round machine with most if not all short comings ironed out. The suspension feels excellent. The only way to better this setup is invest in Ohlins FPK for the front & Ohlins rear shock.

No, not the Tenere. That is way too much bike for me

There are a few bikes I am looking at very seriously, just haven't been able to make up my mind. GSX1250Fa (Aka bandit), FJR or *cough* GSXR *cough*

do yourself a favor and find Tuono, just to try it out. You might change your mind regarding that list

I could just buy yours again

No, no more naked bikes for me. They are excellent for around town, back road scrapping & going below 70 on the highway. Anything higher & they start to get very uncomfortable.

Yay! I got my first low ball offer of 2000 The guys says its because it has scuffs & scratches lol

That's funny. I owned several GSXR bikes over the years. Then I switched to the 9er. Best move I ever made. Talk about uncomfortable. Jeez..Nothing like doing a pushup the whole time you are riding while sitting on a brick.

not this time my friend , it's not for sale. Scuffs and scratches? Lol. It's 11 yo bike in pristine condition. Take some pics of what you consider "scuffs" so ppl can decide for themselves.
