**Sold** FS 2003 Honda 919 - $2900

I am enjoying my dual sport so much that I don't even pay attention to the 919 anymore so I figured it's time to sell rather than have it sitting in the garage unused.

it is an '03 with just under 16K miles. Completely stock except the custom paint and rizoma grab rail covers. The tires are Michelin Pilot Road 2-CT with a little over a 1000 miles on them. New chain and sprockets put on a couple thousand miles ago (44 tooth in the rear). I dumped the bike 2 years ago (slow speed), everything is fixed except a few minor scratches as shown in the pictures. nothing was bent or broken, just cosmetic and I was trying to decide how to modify the bike for my own personnal taste before I replaced these particular pieces and never made up my mind. Unless you are really looking the bike over you really don't notice the scratches except maybe the exhaust cover, I zoomed in the best I could as I want to be upfront with any potential buyer and that is why the price is under $3K. Let me know if you have any questions or would like more pictures if you are interested.

Thanks,
Matt

I knew I forgot something. no the valve check has not been done, that's another reason I put the price where it is.

Now to figure out how far Howard Lake is from me? And, can I Iron Butt it in one shot? What's your nearest airport? I may just have to find out what all this hype is about concerning this 919 thing?

Amen, brother. My 2003 winning eBay bid was $3700 last June (albeit mint condition with maintenance records-have I mentioned recently HOW MUCH I LOVE MY F***ING 9ER?)...where was I?...

$2900 is a phenomenal price.

Schedule sucks over the next several weeks! I'm out of the country for the next 2-weeks starting Sunday night. Back for 5-days and then back out for the next 2-weeks again!

The mind is working. Since everyone here is all up into the 919 thing ... I must try, thrash, and brutally beat one before throwing anymore rocks. I'm thinking if I could just do a single shot from MN to Evansville and leave it there. Need to keep a ride there anyways.

It's best to keep somethings to ones' self. Let's just say that I have been restless over the past few months and the work schedule and travel has made to do somethings that I really didn't need to do.

Fly me from ORF to Minneapolis.
mattf picks me up to get the bike.
I will ride it to Evansville.
You arrange to get me a flight back to ORF -- Or have a touring bike waiting for me in Evansville and I will ride it back home.

You can come get it back later.

The problem with that is ... you won't want to leave Evansville once you get to my place.

The price of that bike is less than I spend in food in one month.
